Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Pharmacy to join our team. As the Director of Pharmacy, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans and goals for the pharmacy department.
Oversee the compounding, dispensing, and distribution of medications.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
Manage and develop pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and safety.
Monitor medication usage and provide recommendations for improvement.
Manage the pharmacy budget and ensure cost-effective practices.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in pharmacy practice.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Represent the pharmacy department in meetings and interactions with external stakeholders.
Required Skills And Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
Prior experience in a leadership or management role preferred.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in pharmacy software and technology.
Current state pharmacy license.
PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
