codeCampus is California’s largest provider of in-school and after school STEAM enrichment programs. We provide weekly, expert instruction in topics like digital art, computer science, robotics, and engineering to kids in their own classrooms. Over the last 10 years we've taught hundreds of thousands of kids how to code, do graphic design, and build robots, and we plan to serve millions more in the years to come.


We're 10 years old, 60 people strong, completely self-funded, and are doubling in size every year.


We’re seeking a Director of Sales & Partnerships to spearhead our expansion efforts within California and into new territories across the country. This is a hands-on role where you will be driving sales for the first year before building a team out beneath you in year two. This role offers a hybrid work setup in Orange County, combining remote work with occasional (once to twice a week, as needed) in-office collaboration at our Irvine workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a portfolio of new and existing accounts in the K-12 education sector, focusing on education services and enrichment services.
  • Lead net-new logo sales, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing new accounts.
  • Drive government bids/RFP prospecting and responses
  • Develop and foster relationships within accounts to expand client spend, ensure renewals, and minimize churn.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of programs.
  • Strategize with executive management to understand annual growth targets and tailor partnership strategies accordingly.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, actively contributing to the company's revenue growth.
  • Travel to conferences and industry events as needed to maintain a strong network and represent codeCampus.
  • Leverage your extensive experience to begin building a sales team beneath you 8-12 months after hire.


Qualifications:

  • You've worn pretty much every hat in a sales hierarchy over the course of your career.
  • Current or previous titles include Assistant Director or Director, with 7-10 years of experience in client-facing sales roles.
  • Proven experience planning, drafting, and winning school/government bids, RFPs, and RFQs.
  • Proven track record in K-12 EdTech sales, education services, or enrichment services.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate with senior decision-makers and internal team members.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to set and exceed personal and professional goals.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a robust capacity for managing sales cycles from start to finish.
