Position Overview:
The Director of Sales – Walmart will be responsible for all aspects of BBI’s Walmart business. They will lead the development of strategic business plans and manage the execution of sales tactics to deliver on the company’s revenue and profit goals for Walmart business.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Leads all aspects of BBIs Walmart business including employees and agency partners
Facilitates the annual planning and execution of sales tactics to help deliver strategic business plans
Acceleration of market share position
Manages and is accountable for creating, maintaining, and delivering the sales forecast
Manages and owns the Trade and Selling budget to ensure predictable acceleration of profitability
Utilization of syndicated data to make strategic recommendations for our retail partners.
Strong ability to build retail selling stories leveraging facts and data
Collaborate with sales agencies and BBI’s insights team to deliver actionable insights
Be an expert for the full brand portfolio, being able to speak fluently about the brands’ product offerings.
Be knowledgeable about our categories - competing brands and products nationally and at Walmart
Coordinate with Trade Managers, Sales Planners and Supply Operations on cross functional projects including open stock, Displays, promotions, and incremental new items.
Drive customer line reviews and the internal meeting preparation needed working cross functionally with Customer Strategy, Insights, Marketing, Finance, Supply

Responsible for working with Sales Admin and Sales Agency Partners to complete all necessary paperwork needed - new items setup, add/deletes, displays, etc.

Strong leadership and communication skills; capable of presenting complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format

Previous experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Great communication skills; both verbal and written.
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving skills and computer technical skills
Skilled / experienced with Retail Link, Item 360 and other data portals within Walmart, set up process and maintain all customer paperwork
Advanced proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft applications
Experience working in cross-functional teams
The ability to negotiate, analyze and prioritize in a face-paced environment while dealing with ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to build long lasting, value-added relationships with customers
Education/ Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible and related sales experience
Walmart selling experience required
Up to 35% travel
