Position Overview

As the Strategic Director of Real Estate Portfolio & Occupancy Planning, you will spearhead the development of data-driven long-term real estate strategies for our organization. Focused on optimizing the utilization of our real estate portfolio, you will align business objectives with cost reduction initiatives and tangible real estate opportunities. Your role will involve evaluating market-level strategies, making fact-based recommendations to senior leaders, and analyzing real estate asset utilization across administrative offices and patient-facing sites.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic consultant for real estate planning across clinic and administrative office portfolios.
  • Evaluate space utilization, market factors, and corporate objectives to recommend real estate actions.
  • Oversee and govern third-party providers in the Occupancy Planning team.
  • Communicate the financial impact of long-term real estate decisions effectively.
  • Guide business units through clinic planning and forecasting activities.
  • Analyze opportunities for portfolio improvement and present compelling business cases.
  • Act as a liaison between business objectives and real estate plans.
  • Collaborate with Real Estate Business Partners and finance leaders.
  • Stay updated on market trends and developments in the real estate field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, health care management, or related field.
  • 15+ years of varied real estate experience.
  • Experience with occupancy planning and financial analysis.
  • People management experience.
  • Working real estate experience, including market planning and transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop data-driven analyses and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA.
  • Experience with clinic/health care real estate portfolio planning.

Salary Information

For residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington, the salary range is $122,100 to $234,700 annually, based on factors such as local labor markets, education, and experience.
