The Docks Professional Facilities Engineer (Civil Option) is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama State Port Authority. Positions are located in Mobile, Alabama. This is supervisory and professional civil engineering work involving the state port and inland waterway facilities. Employees are responsible for planning and administering various phases of engineering work in the location, design, construction and maintenance of a variety of complex docks facilities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT(S)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in Civil Engineering
Four years of technical and administrative work experience in engineering and maintenance, railway construction, plant and dock construction, and/or other engineering maintenance activities ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT(S)
Possession of a Professional Engineer’s License issued by the Alabama Board for the Registration of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors
