Dynamics 365 Developer

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or Related discipline or 7 + years of experience
• 2-5 years D365 in Finance and Operations
• Advanced proficiency in MS SQL
• Hands on C# software development experience

Pluses:

• Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 or related technologies are preferred
• Ability to lead requirements effort on routine to moderately complex projects

Day to Day:

An employer in the Cincinnati is seeking a D365 developer to sit hybrid onsite. They will be joining a team to help transition from a homegrown ERP system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for Finance and Operations. This involves migrating data, redefining processes, and ensuring a smooth transition. This individual’s day will involve a mix of technical work (70%), collaboration (30%), and learning about the business context as they transition to D365. This person is encouraged to be interactive with the team, learn the business, and share their knowledge of D365 as they continue to release this tool.

Different responsibilities include:

• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customizations, configurations, and solutions within the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform
• Works closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and implement solutions that meet the organization's needs
• Collaborates with Product Owners and end-users to define and document requirements using Agile methodology
• Designs and develops new functionality and custom models that are stable, reusable, scalable and simple within Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations using X++ programming language
• Implements Azure-based solutions to supplement D365
• Coach junior teammates on best practices and coding principles
