EMR ONBOARDING SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Summary

Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Manager of the Learning and Adoption team, the Application Technology Specialist has the ability to work alone on regular duties while referring appropriately to manager or other resources for escalation or support. This resource will focus on the administration and technology of the learning management systems that are used to deliver on-line education to the EMR end-users. This is a customer facing position and the application technology specialist should therefore exhibit customer service skills, with a strong attention to detail. In addition, the application technology specialist possesses strong communication skills adapted to the requirements of the customers.

• The application technology specialist is able to manage the technology platforms for the education and on-line learning systems for the manager of the Learning and Adoption Team.
• Demonstrates the ability to enroll, assign, and administer learning content within the on-line learning systems that are deployed for the end-users.
• Manages the content updates that are required for the learning systems reflective of updated functionality, new functionality, and releases.
• Effectively respond to provider issues, using or developing resources and seeking assistance as needed, as it relates to the learning systems.
• Acts as a liaison to the on-line learning system vendor(s)s to keep abreast of new features, functionality and development requests.
  
  

Requirements

• Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
• 1-3 years experience
