• Estimated annual base pay: $83,300(minimum) - $104,100(midpoint) - $124,900(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Job Position, we have an exciting opportunity for you. As a Controls Analyst, your focus will be on performing routine analysis functions which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of engineering analysis tasks. You will play a key role in designing and supporting moderate complexity actuators and controls, as well as building relationships with customers, suppliers, and other individuals or organizations involved in project-specific work. What You Will Be Doing

• Assist in developing requirements and project plan.
• Make dynamic system models to predict performance, provide dynamics-related guidance to electrical and mechanical design, simulation for development of the control, and to aid debugging after hardware is available.
• Design controllers and optimize them for generation of production code.
• Debug integration of the controller with software and electrical and mechanical hardware.
• Write test plans, process test data, document and design review results.
• Primary products are actuation controls for large engines and turbines and related products, such as liquid or gas fuel valves and regulators, and engine controls. Also built-in test, diagnostics and prognostics for these products.
• Support new product introduction and maintenance of existing products.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering strongly preferred.
• Master's degree (MA/MS) in Technical/Science preferred
• 1+ years of related field experience or entry level Master of Science degree required
• Solid knowledge of controls development and analysis tools including MATLAB and Simulink required.
• Working knowledge of Python is desirable.
