Engineering Manager

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to support with the following:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with VP of Operations and Chief Manufacturing Engineer to define a vision and roadmap for the Manufacturing Engineering team aligned with business goals
• Improving company processes for efficiency, expand processes for new markets, and document design standards for manufacturability
• Evaluating performance and potential of team members, providing mentorship to develop skills
• Managing team tasks to meet deadlines and OTD, presenting visual resource plans
• Communicating status of activities to executives internally and externally
• Implementing strategic policies for obtaining results
• Ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements
• Mentoring engineers in solving complex manufacturing technology issues

Qualifications:

• BS in engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of operations experience with RF/microwave products
• Working knowledge of thin film, PCB assembly, and hermetic manufacturing processes
• Proven track record of operations management success
• Understanding of AS9100 quality requirements
• Experience with customer interaction and structural/thermal analysis
• Ability to problem solve open-ended issues with defined approach
• Preferred experience with military/satellite hardware, specifications, and test requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and gain acceptance from others
