Deceuninck North America is seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our team as an Environmental Health & Safety Intern (Spring 2025) for our Monroe, OH facility. In this role, the EH&S Intern will support all aspects of Environmental Health & Safety. Core Responsibilities
Develops and reviews Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
Develops energy control procedures.
Evaluation of energy savings opportunities.
Develop, participate and work with team inspections on routine audits, inspections and meetings.
Work with the department management to implement layers of protection that reduce the risk to acceptable levels.
Document processes and prepare a presentation for management on project(s).
Qualifications
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Continuous improvement mindset, with strong attention to detail and experience in data analysis.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S).
Education Requirements
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program in one of the following: Environmental Health & Safety, or Industrial Hygiene program.
Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework with a culminative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
