JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Epic Bridges Certified Interface Developer/Lead to support data conversion and validation for our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interface development, with specific expertise in Bridges certification. The client is currently in the process of selecting an interface engine, with Cloverleaf or Rhapsody being the leading contenders. This role requires the ability to provide advisory support while also being hands-on in development activities. Epic is providing the extracts but the main skill is for someone to do the rest of the data conversion upon receiving the extracts from Epic - ie, doing the validation and loading in to the new Epic environment. (Client is going from Epic to Epic.)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand interface requirements and objectives.
  • Design, develop, and implement interfaces using selected interface engine (Cloverleaf or Rhapsody).
  • Conduct thorough data conversion and validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of transferred data.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the client on interface development best practices.
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging of interface issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize project delays.
  • Lead interface development efforts, coordinating with internal team members and external vendors as needed.
  • Document interface specifications, configurations, and development activities for future reference and knowledge transfer.
  • Conduct interface testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate functionality and performance.
  • Monitor interface performance and stability post-implementation, proactively addressing any issues or inefficiencies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in interface development technologies, incorporating relevant innovations into project workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interface development experience, with proficiency in bridges certification.
  • Expertise in interface engines, preferably with experience in Cloverleaf or Rhapsody.
  • Ability to provide advisory support to the client.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on development work as needed.

Type of Project: The project involves transitioning the client from Epic on Connect Instance through another Hospital to their own instance. This is a critical phase in the project, requiring meticulous data conversion and validation efforts to ensure a smooth transition.

Duration of Engagement: This is a 6-month engagement with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.

Start Date or Go-live Date: The engagement is expected to commence from mid-July to early August, aligning with the project timeline.

Location: The position offers a hybrid work model, with on-site or remote work options based on client requirements. Flexibility in location is essential to accommodate the client's needs effectively.

Benefits:

Ellit Groups provides comprehensive benefits options to salaried employees, including:

  • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance
  • STD, LTD, and AD&D
  • Medical and Dependent Care FSA
  • 401k Retirement
