Scion Executive Search has been retained to search for the incoming Executive Director on behalf of our client, Womens Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada, an incredible nonprofit organization rooted in faith and dedicated to assisting families navigating pregnancies. The organization is undergoing an exciting rebranding initiative to become Allyfe Pregnancy Centers, set to launch on January 1, 2025!

This full-time, onsite, permanent position is for immediate hire in the dynamic city of Las Vegas, Nevada.

OVERVIEW:

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Trustees, the Executive Director will ensure Allyfe Pregnancy Centers policies and annual objectives are implemented and adhered to, guaranteeing financial stability and efficient administrative oversight. Collaborating closely with the Medical Director and the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director will provide leadership and direction for all programs and fundraising initiatives. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan to enhance awareness of Allyfe Pregnancy Centers mission and activities, and to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders. For this impactful role, Allyfe Pregnancy Centers seeks a dynamic leader possessing a strategic vision and unwavering dedication to delivering top-tier patient care and financial stewardship for the organization.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT

  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to advancing the vision and mission, cultivating strong partnerships, and pursuing success with enthusiasm and dedication.
  • Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and systems; recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals.
  • Implement efficient systems for monitoring scaling progress and regularly assess program components to measure successes; effectively communicate these achievements to the board, funders, and other stakeholders.
  • Assure the well-organized and punctual delivery of programs through coordination among staff, volunteers, and external partners.
  • Actively engage and energize volunteers, board members, event committees, alumni, partnering organizations, and funders.
  • Foster the development of a strong Board of Trustees, actively participating in each committee and encouraging board engagement in strategic direction-setting.
  • Guide, mentor, nurture, and retain the senior management team (Office Manager, Marketing Manager, Practice Manager, and Fundraiser) with effective leadership and coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and regulatory agency regulations.
  • Direct the creation and execution of standardized policies, procedures, and plans to ensure consistent guidance across operations.
  • Consistently build relationships to meet patient needs and maximize potential with new patients and community collaborations.
  • Promote a thriving organizational culture by upholding and championing the organizations accountability creed and corporate culture standards.
  • Prepare for and lead Board meetings, ensuring timely and accurate provision of all necessary information for effective deliberation.
  • Serve as the primary authorized signer for executing all Board-approved notes, contracts, agreements, and other organizational instruments.

FUNDRAISING AND COMMUNICATION

  • Accountable for driving the success of all income-generating initiatives.
  • Expand local revenue generation and fundraising endeavors to bolster current program operations and facilitate program expansion initiatives.
  • Supervise the adherence to content compliance across all communication channels, encompassing online platforms and community interactions, to uphold a robust national brand.
  • Utilize external presence and relationships to capitalize on new opportunities.

PLANNING & NEW BUSINESS

  • Execute and finalize the strategic business planning process to facilitate potential program expansion.
  • Craft comprehensive three-year strategic fundraising plans integrating income diversity.
  • Assess the organizations financial, operational, and philanthropic frameworks to strategize for ongoing enhancements and operational efficiencies.
  • Direct annual fund cultivation, solicitation, and steward donor relationships.
  • Regularly generate reports assessing various fundraising strategies and progress across all areas to effectively communicate outcomes to management teams and the Board.
  • Comprehensively manage expenses and forecast income and costs for existing and new projects.
  • Strategize and oversee capital campaign and growth initiatives.
  • Serve as an outward-facing local representative, disseminating and communicating program outcomes, highlighting the achievements of the local program as a blueprint for regional and national replication.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of successful experience as a Director of Development, Executive Director, or another related senior management position of a similarly scoped organization.
  • Experienced leader with demonstrated skills leading a nonprofit, or equivalent for-profit, organization in the $3M+ revenue range with a complex set of community offerings and stakeholders.
  • Dedication to Allyfe Pregnancy Centers mission, and a dynamic and evolving personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
  • Compassion for and commitment to providing abortion alternatives to women facing unexpected pregnancies and their preborn babies.
  • Genuine passion for fundraising, coupled with a proven track record of success.
  • Masters degree preferred (concentrations in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising are a plus).
  • Proficiency in expert-level written and verbal communication, coupled with strong fundraising capabilities through relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Genuine passion for and a demonstrated track record of success in fundraising is required.
  • Familiarity with the principles and methodologies of administering and managing research grants.
  • Proven history of successfully leading and scaling a performance- and outcomes-driven organization and team at regional and/or national levels, demonstrated capability to provide concrete examples of formulating and implementing strategies that have propelled an organization to the next level of growth.
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively cultivating and stewarding strong donor relationships with individuals, businesses, and foundations; capital campaign experience is a plus.
  • History of skillfully crafting strategic communication pieces, including press releases, newsletters, project management plans, etc.
  • Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of complex vendor procurement processes and revenue cycle management.
  • Experience required to prove strong financial management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making, and reporting.
  • Established ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize big-picture ideas and execute them into tangible actions.
  • Management of liability of human resources policies, safety protocols, and the proactive promotion of adherence to and implementation of safe practices in the workplace.
  • Capable of periodic travel, including commuting to and from activities primarily within the metro area, with occasional travel necessary throughout Allyfe Pregnancy Centers service area.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This full-time, on-site opportunity will substantially impact Southern Nevada communities. Allyfe Pregnancy Centers prioritizes employee well-being and satisfaction by providing a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support health, financial security, and work-life balance. In addition to a competitive base salary of $110,000 to $125,000 (DOE), robust health insurance coverage is offered, with the organization covering 90% of the premiums for employees, along with optional vision and dental coverage available at a nominal fee. Employees receive generous time off, including six sick days, nine paid holidays, ten vacation days, one floating holiday per year, and one personal wellness day each quarter, allowing for self-care and wellness activities. Additionally, the organization provides a 403b retirement savings plan with a 4% matching contribution and more! This position and mission will inspire you daily!
