Executive Medical Director

SciPro has partnered with a clinical-stage genetic medicine company dedicated to pioneering treatments for Cardiovascular disorders. They are actively growing their clinical team and are seeking an Executive Medical Director to oversee their Cardiac programs, across early and late phases. The Executive Medical Director will also be responsible for designing future studies as well as the clinical development strategy for next-generation therapies in the Company’s pipeline.

The role reports directly to the CDO and will have the autonomy to lead their cardiovascular pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Manage all clinical development and strategy
• Build and maintain relationships with external experts and advisors.
• Lead the creation and updates of clinical protocols.
• Oversee the start, execution, and analysis of clinical trials.
• Provide clinical support for trials as needed, review trial data with the team, manage patient safety reports, and help with final analysis and reports.
• Present clinical strategy and trial data to management and other audiences.
• Participate in regulatory interactions, help prepare documents, and attend meetings with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Cadiolgist MD with over 10 years of direct clinical experience.
• Prior experience working in Cardiovascular clinical development
• Gene therapy is a nice to have - not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and relationship management across various functions and with external stakeholders.
