Company Overview:

Our client, a leading investment firm focused on emerging technologies globally, is seeking a talented Finance Associate to join their team. They are known for their strategic investments across various stages, from early-stage venture financing to growth equity and liquid token assets. They are deeply involved in the crypto ecosystem and are committed to advancing technology worldwide. The team operates in the office Monday-Wednesday,

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily transactions and portfolio performance metrics
• Assist with the monthly NAV process
• Participate in quarterly valuation meetings
• Coordinate financial requests with Portfolio Companies to determine fair value
• Conduct compliance reviews of finance policies and procedures
• Contribute to investor relations communications
• Assist with the annual audit process and preparation of fund financial statements
• Collaborate with the Controller on tax filings (K1s, allocations, and returns)
• Support administrators with FACTA & CRS compliance
• Contribute to regulatory filings or audits (SEC, CFTC, or IRS/FTB, etc.)

Qualifications:

1. Experience with fund accounting and operations
2. Proficiency in managing third-party administrators
3. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Compensation:

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $120K - $140K per year + bonus.
