Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

As a Director of Finance, you play a critical role in managing and optimizing Tower group’s financial health. Strategic thinking, Analytical prowess, and leadership abilities are essential for success in this role.

Developing Financial Strategies:

• Forecast capital, facilities, and staff requirements.
• Identify monetary resources and create action plans.

Monitoring Financial Performance:

• Measure and analyze results.
• Initiate corrective actions and minimize variances.

Maximizing Return on Invested Funds:

• Identify investment opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with the investment community.

Budget and Forecast Management:

• Provide financial direction.
• Assist in strategic decisions.

Cost Reduction:

• Review financial reports to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Legal Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Research existing and new legislation.
• Consult with outside advisors and file financial reports.

Financial Systems and Procedures:

• Oversee the company’s financial systems.
• Recommend improvements where necessary.

Qualifications:

Analytical Skills: Evaluation financial data and make decisions that influence company-wide strategies

PF&A Experience: Familiarity with financial planning and analysis processes

Process Control and Process Improvement: Ability to identify solutions to financial issues and streamline processes

Strong Communication: Effectively collaborate with various departments for accurate financial reporting and cost control.
