Orion Solutions is working with an International 3PL leader who is seeking a motivated and polished Freight Forwarding Sales Executive. You will be responsible for increasing the company’s portfolio and developing new sales opportunities.

Salary: $100-120K, plus commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow the freight forwarding book for ocean/air freight and important/export business.
  • Identify and create new leads through referrals, cold calls, and marketing efforts.
  • Prepare P&L for costing on all new business opportunities, this includes analysis for implementing rate changes.
  • Prepare quotes in line with new business and or changes in existing business.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for potential business.
  • Update work file registers of sales targets and planning to keep an eye on focus areas, sales activity and overview of projects.
  • Conduct studies for relevant projects.
  • Stay current on industry trends, services, and competitor activities.
  • Communicate with customer service team regarding information pertaining to customer changes and updates.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of international logistics, warehousing, or supply chain experience.
  • Proven growth in Ocean/Air Freight Forwarding
