KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compiling and organizing healthcare data.
  • Analyzing data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management and decision making.
  • Understanding data storage and data sharing methods.
  • Investigating data to find patterns and trends.
  • Understanding healthcare business operations.
  • Utilizing different data sources for analyses.
  • Converting data into usable information that is easy to understand.
  • Developing reports, visualizations, and presentations.
  • Communicating analytic insights to management.
  • Transforming data sets, quantitative and qualitative analyses into compelling visuals.
  • Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meet with stakeholders to understand objectives and provide insights and product ideation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Highly ambitious, given role will grow as the company does.
  • Self-starter, very energetic and ability to change directions quickly.
  • High standard of quality and commitment to produce top-notch work.
  • Creative vision, a passion for learning and willingness to adopt and share new ideas.
  • Expertise in healthcare data sets such as claims, eligibility, and HL7.
  • Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in managing electronic medical records.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the ‘bigger picture’.
  • Comfortable with juggling facts, figures, and number crunching.
  • Critical thinking: able to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task across a range of diverse projects.
  • Ability to work independently and in a highly virtual environment, with colleagues all over the country.
  • Strong technology skills and ability to master working across a range of software programs, including Microsoft Office applications, Jira, Visio.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends when required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, healthcare administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Industry experience in healthcare
