Insurance Account Administrator

360 Talent Avenue is seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Account Administrator to lead and supervise a significant book of business. This role involves supporting team members, including CSRs and other Account Administrators, and leading specific departmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will ensure high service standards, manage customer accounts and relationships, and drive revenue growth through account retention and expansion.

This is a direct hire position with our client.
Location: Forsyth, IL
Compensation: $55,000-$82,000

As an Insurance Account Administrator, you will:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by anticipating customer needs, maintaining professional communication, and responding promptly to service requests.
  • Manage, supervise, and train team members to ensure high performance.
  • Develop and implement process efficiency and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry expertise through ongoing training and certifications.
  • Oversee insurance policy expirations to ensure timely renewal and delivery by staff.
  • Liaise with accounting to manage accounts receivable balances and oversee collections for a significant book of business.
  • Develop, prepare, and present customer renewal proposals and pitches as needed.
  • Create various AMS and Excel reports for team members and management.
  • Cross-sell insurance and bank services, setting and meeting growth and cross-sell goals.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one and group meetings with staff to review goals and personal development.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with two years of insurance experience preferred, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk management, insurance brokerage, or underwriting.
  • Illinois Insurance Producer’s license and a valid Illinois Driver’s license required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and related software.
