AgileMD’s products integrate with the electronic medical records systems of large hospital networks and deliver highly available, robust tools. These tools ingest, transform, and analyze large amounts of patient data in real-time and make complex risk assessments and predictions. All of this is done across a distributed infrastructure that must provide high availability and adhere to the strictest security standards.
We’re looking for an HL7 Integration Engineer that will be responsible for all planning, technical, communication, documentation, and maintenance tasks associated with the implementation of HL7 and other system interfaces for our company's products at our hospital customers. This person will interact with internal and external teams throughout multiple phases of the project.
Responsibilities
Responsible for implementation of EMR/EHR interfaces.
Interacts with clients to understand integration needs and provide required interfaces.
Analyzes and documents customer requirements and business workflows for integration implementation.
Tests and validates implemented interfaces based on customer requirements.
Maintains and supports existing interfaces.
Uses project management tools to track implementation progress.
Assist clients to setup network connections through necessary ports, IP addresses, VPN, etc. configurations.
Perform other duties as required.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s Degree (or related technical discipline)
3+ years of job-related experience, including HL7 interface implementation, with programming experience preferred
Extensive experience with modern interface engines. Ideally Mirth or Cerner, but can be Cloverleaf, InterSystems Ensemble, Rhapsody, Tibco, Healthshare, etc
Customer-facing professionalism with superb verbal and written communication skills
Understand HL7 message structures, best practices, searching and troubleshooting
Highly organized and detail oriented for managing complex integrations, configurations and testing
Familiarity with Javascript, CCL, TCL, or equivalent engine scripting language
