Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic team at Focus Design Build, a leading Luxury Custom Home Builder in Nashville . As an Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the aesthetic and functional spaces for our high-profile clients in speculative and custom homes. This role demands a deep understanding of design principles, innovative creativity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high standards of design quality and operational performance.
• Develop comprehensive design proposals that include conceptual designs, space planning, material selection, and color schemes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and objectives, providing expert advice and innovative solutions that align with their goals.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design specifications are accurately executed and deadlines are met.
• Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, finishes, and furnishings, ensuring they meet quality standards and budget requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in interior design and architecture.
• Conduct presentations and meetings with clients to review design concepts, modifications, and progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in interior design, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
• Strong proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and 3D rendering tools.
• Exceptional design sensibility with expertise in space planning, color theory, materials, and lighting design.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members, clients, and external partners.
• A deep understanding of building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Leadership qualities with experience in managing and mentoring a design team.
• Creativity, with an eye for detail and a passion for delivering innovative design solutions.
