We are looking for a Java developer for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. In this role, you will develop a web-based AWS-hosted application, supporting Maintenance and Logistics.
This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is a remote role in the US
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities
Develop web-based AWS-hosted application, supporting Maintenance and Logistics.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Java development.
Experience with Spring Boot, AWS and Gitlab is a must.
Experience in Agile software development methodologies and tools.
Experience in designing, developing and maintaining, front-end and back-end automated software tests of a microservice or service-oriented architecture-based software application within a CI/CD pipeline.
Experience in utilizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process(es) in a software development environment intended for production.
Experience with all of the following software testing principles; unit, component, integration, contract and end-to-end.
Ability to lead discussions and determine resolutions to software technical problems.
Bachelors Degree.
