We are looking for an experienced Full Time junior accountant/bookkeeper to join our team.
Performs the day-to-day full-charge bookkeeping functions for the firm's internal accounting needs.
Job Duties include and may not be limited to:
Prepares Monthly budgets and forecasts
Handle all aspects of AP
Reviewing and filing necessary sales tax returns and ensuring they are compiled accurately
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Verifies and enters details of accounting transactions as they occur in computerized accounting system.
Prepares appropriate schedules and reports as requested.
Handles daily accounting mail, including notices and disbursements.
Prepares bank reconciliations monthly.
Performs other duties as assigned
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Minimum of two (2) years’ responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience related to a computerized accounting system, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reports.
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns.
Requires ability to keep matters confidential.
