Position Overview
We're seeking a dynamic Key Account Executive to support our Portable Wholesome Snacks and Fruit Snacks Categories for a major wholesale club account. In this exciting role, you'll leverage your selling skills to drive business results by partnering with key decision-makers. As an integral part of our Sales Team, you'll create innovative sales solutions driven by consumer insights and maximize growth strategies for your account.
Key Responsibilities
Account Development:
Develop comprehensive annual customer plans
Set objectives to support our full brand portfolio
Focus on merchandising, promotions, pricing, new & seasonal product launches, omnichannel programs, and ESG partner initiatives
Customer Collaboration:
Act as a strategic business partner, providing superior business knowledge
Work closely with the client to deliver exceptional results
Strategic Partnerships:
Build strong relationships with customer key decision-makers
Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners
Identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver results
Analytics:
Drive profitable sales growth through in-depth analysis of promotions and business needs
Revise future programs based on data-driven insights
Budget Management:
Manage trade dollars within assigned budgets
Ensure profitability and deliver customer-specific trade plans
Qualifications
Significant account management experience
Strong ability to develop, present, and execute customer plans
Excellent communication skills and account penetration strategies
Deep understanding of market dynamics and financial acumen
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation (e.g., Nielsen / IRI)
Solid grasp of trade strategy, retail operations, and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Flexible work schedule and willingness to travel overnight as needed
