Laundry Attendant Custodian

Era Living is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant/Custodian to become the newest member of our Housekeeping team located in University House Issaquah, Issaquah, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Saturday - Sunday (regulary scheduled 16 hours per week with ability to pick up more).

Primary Responsibilities:

The Laundry Attendant performs day-to-day laundry functions including: collecting dirty laundry, sorting, and pre-spotting when necessary; washing, drying, folding & ironing laundry using industrial sized equipment. This position will also serve as a back-up custodian in times of absence, performing routine cleaning, washing, sanitizing duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine housekeeping and laundry functions in a health care institution
• Ability to perform duties in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control and sanitation procedures, and Era Living policies and procedures
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
