LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a dynamic administrative professional for a large law firm in DC. The Legal Administrative Assistant will support the Employee Benefits, Executive Comp and Health practice groups. This opportunity is full time and hybrid (3 days in).
Responsibilities:
Prioritize assignments and prepare sensitive and detailed correspondence from rough draft or dictation
Prepare correspondence, legal documents, forms, presentations, and the like; proofread and edit text for grammatical and typographical errors, and occasionally for content
Support the billing process to include management of time-entry, data review and correction, final submission to meet all required deadlines, maintenance of billing records, and research of disputes and discrepancies
Manage various client-driven activities such as conflict checks and waivers, engagement letters, and business development initiatives
Schedule appointments, make travel and/or meeting arrangements, process expense reports, and maintain business calendars
Establish and maintain well organized files, and manage the integrity of original client documents in various formats, such as hardcopy, electronic, and various eRoom platforms
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years prior relevant work experience within a law firm or professional services environment is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced use of Word (redlining, comparing documents, advanced formatting, TOA creation and manipulation, and insertion of hyperlinks)
Familiarity with Worksite/Filesite is preferred
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary range is as follows:
2-6 years' experience - up to $70,000
7-10 years' experience - up to $80,000
11-19 years' experience - up to $95,000
20+ year's experience - up to $110,000
