Hybrid: 3 days on site and 2 days remote
Required Skills and Experience *
-5-10+ years of experience as a Legal Admin or Executive Assistant
-5+ years of experience within Trust and Estates, Estate Planning, Will Filing
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to timely and accurately follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills- ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the Firm.
-Ability to adjust work schedule to accommodate occasional overtime work.
-Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) Comprehensive understanding of PDF (Kofax, Adobe) functions.
-Ability to assist with time entry and preparation of client bills ensuring they're submitted by deadlines, and bills are sent to the appropriate clients.
-Ability to handle travel arrangements for out-of-town meetings and conferences
-Experience coordinating reimbursements, reconciling expenses and submitting invoices
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
-Law Firm experience (specifically supporting attorney(s) or legal counsel)
-Experience working with smaller/mid-sized firms
- A high degree of organization, flexibility, and reliability to set priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, and work well under pressure.
Job Description *
A mid-sized law firm in the Boston, MA area is looking for a Legal Admin/Executive Assistant to join their growing Private Client Department. This individual will be responsible for assisting 5-7 of the Firm's attorneys. Daily responsibilities include managing the above administrative tasks as well as formatting, proofreading, and editing legal documents, power point presentations, and excel spreadsheets; ensure accuracy of details. This role is non-exempt and offers hybrid flexibility, option to work remotely 2 days a week. This is a salary position offering a range between $75,000 and $100,000.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
