Windstar Cruises is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cruise Line Charter Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving charter sales for our cruise line, building relationships with clients, and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new charter business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with charter clients, including corporate groups, incentive travel companies, and special event planners.
  • Work with Wedding Planners to secure full ship wedding charters.
  • Negotiate charter agreements and pricing to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of charters.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the charter booking process and during the charter cruise.
  • Follows up on Tradeshow leads.
  • Provides and collaborates with Director of C&I to implement business objectives.
  • Additional special projects along with coordinating FAM’s (educational trips) for high profile clients.
  • Manage international and North American charter clients in key markets.
  • Ability to Identify and pursue new leads and opportunities in an innovative manner.
  • Expertise in new business development and nurturing of leads.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Proven track record of success in charter sales within the cruise industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of cruise line operations and industry trends
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and lead tracking for effective management and conversion of leads
  • Salesforce Knowledge Preferred
