Role Overview

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop large global partnerships with partners in the travel industry. Focusing on a wide variety of verticals, including but not limited to: adventure, luxury, leisure and experience-based travel segments. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, relentless hunter with a consistent record of accomplishment of building world-class partnerships and sales over-achievement. Comfortable selling at all levels within an organization, this individual is aggressive, yet polished and thrives in a dynamic and competitive environment.

This is a new position that provides the opportunity for a highly driven individual to develop their sales experience and grow within Global Rescue. You will have the opportunity to generate and manage new business sales in a territory ripe with opportunities by using market data and internal databases to prospect potential channel partners, collaborate with the team to set up meetings, and identify and address prospects' needs through mutual collaboration with management.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full partnership lifecycle; drive large partnership opportunities across multiple verticals from initial contact through close, including account management.
  • Collaborate effectively across the business to generate sales leads from business development associates, marketing, and partner pipeline development opportunities to drive appropriate funnel coverage to exceed sales targets
  • Research prospects to develop a lead generation plan and act as the single point of contact for selected inbound calls/requests, qualify these opportunities and pursue or pass to the relevant channel team member
  • Lead OEM-like partnership development sales cycles, leveraging senior leadership and additional SMEs as needed
  • Execute consistently against quarterly revenue targets and close/own a minimum of $1M in deals annually when fully ramped.
  • Develop a strategy and execution plan with 30-60-90-day benchmarks. Maintain a pipeline to target plan by generating new leads and opportunities from personal activity (cold outreach), trade shows, conferences, regional organizations, outbound sales & marketing recruitment and other methods.
  • Accurately capture and report all aspects of sales activity using Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Using CRM, create and deliver accurate forecasts while also building and maintaining a strong pipeline
  • Formulate and articulate customized value propositions to an executive audience
  • Ongoing and precise record keeping and forecasting within Microsoft Dynamics as well as the ability to make use of prospecting support tools such as LinkedIn etc.
  • Take the lead role in delivering and negotiating contracts, working closely with sales management, finance, legal and contract teams
  • Collaborate and strategize with Senior leadership on strategic target prospects and engagements


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, with 5+ years of business development and quota carrying channel selling experience
  • Previous experience creating and developing strategic partnerships in new domains leading to new revenue streams
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment of successfully creating prospect lead generation plans to ensure funnel coverage in order to exceed sales targets
  • Superior track-record of driving sales and closing deals from initial point of contact to close
  • Exceptional presentation abilities required
  • Proven ability to gain access to an organization and identify the appropriate point of contact throughout the sales process
  • Must be able to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic evolving environment
  • Comfortable driving new conversations in underpenetrated markets and verticals where services provide a strong value proposition.
