What you’ll do as a Sr. Master Scheduler:

• Develop and maintain master production schedules for multiple sites based on customer orders, demand forecasts, production capacity, and material availability, ensuring alignment with customer requirements
• Ensure supply plans and master schedules are aligned, working with IBP and reconciling planning discrepancies
• Collaborate with demand/supply managers, customer experience, production planning, procurement, engineering, and sales to gather information and ensure accurate plans and schedules, identifying variances to drive corrective actions
• Monitor and analyze demand forecasts, sales orders, and production requirements to balance supply and demand effectively
• Evaluate production processes, lead times, and capacity constraints to identify improvement opportunities and optimize scheduling efficiency
• Communicate production schedules and updates to stakeholders, including customer experience, production planning, sales, and engineering
• Maintain accurate production records, including inventory levels, production outputs, and schedule changes, using appropriate software systems
• Identify and assess risks, issues, and conflicts affecting schedules and develop mitigation plans
• Support the development and implementation of production planning strategies, policies, and procedures
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in production scheduling and implement improvements as needed

What you need to be a Sr. Master Scheduler:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• 5 years plus proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electrical equipment or metal fabrication
• Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling principles, methodologies, and tools
• Proficiency in using production scheduling software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proactive mindset and ability to anticipate potential production issues and implement preventive measures
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
