Merchant Services Account Executive

The Merchant Services Account Executive is responsible for selling merchant services products to prospective and existing customers of The First. The Merchant Services Account Executive will partner heavily with bank personnel including commercial lenders, branch managers, personal bankers, and tellers, in helping to generate and respond to referrals of merchant services prospects. The Account Executive will also prospect their sales territory to acquire additional merchant services leads. The Account Executive will be the subject matter expert for merchant services, and will be responsible for the servicing/support of our merchant services clients, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.

This position reports to the Merchant Services Sales Manager, and will work closely with our merchant services partner.

This position receives a base salary, plus monthly incentive compensation.

Qualifications

Education/Skills/Experience:

• Associates Degree or Higher Preferred
• 1+ years’ Merchant Services Sales Experience Strongly Preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in banking Preferred
• 2+ years’ sales experience - Preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office Products, including Excel and Word Required
• Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent Time Management Skills
