The ideal candidate will have extensive experience advising lenders, investors, borrowers, and issuers in various leveraged finance transactions.Duties:Counsel clients on leveraged finance matters, including asset-based lending, private placements, unitranche financings, first lien/second lien arrangements, mezzanine financings, and leveraged and investment-grade lending transactions.Conducted due diligence, drafted and negotiated transaction documents, and managed closings for various financing transactions.Provide clients with legal analysis and strategic advice on regulatory and compliance issues related to leveraged finance.Requirements:JD from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the State Bar of North Carolina.3-5 years of experience practicing leveraged finance law, preferably at a large law firm.Strong understanding of financial markets, banking regulations, and transactional structures.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex financial agreements and transaction documents.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Client management skills with a focus on delivering high-quality legal services.
