Job Description
EARN SALARY PLUS COMMISSION while expanding your career into the custom home building industry as a Sales Consultant with Classic Homes of Maryland. We are an award winning design-build home builder with over 35 years of experience. We’re looking for exceptional new home sales professionals to be a part of our growing sales team.
Our business model, background and marketing efforts attract a wide variety of customers. Clients include international investors, doctors, lawyers and area business owners. Available architectural models range from transitional to modern farmhouse to luxury estate homes.
The Sales Consultant will follow up with qualified prospects, understand their dream home goals, and assist with choosing the right homesite and home design process, whether starting from a floor plan in our portfolio, or from scratch with one of our award winning architects.
The Sales Consultant will receive daily training towards developing an expert knowledge of the Classic Homes portfolio and design service processes, timeline, financing, lot assessment and design possibilities.

Sales Consultant candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of new home sales experience or other industry related work
- Previous experience working with customers, and an ability to create rapport and a great experience
- Demonstrated ability in sales and negotiation techniques
- A desire to continuously learn technical aspects of land development and construction
- Highly professional and excellent presentation and communication skills
- Interested in full-time work and a long-term career with a growing company
- Software skills - Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets) and CRM experience
- Family owned and operated business for over 35 years
- Work with a wide variety of interesting clients
- Learn the on-your-lot building process from design to site work, to construction and home delivery
- Customizable house types range from 3,000 sq ft arts and crafts style homes to 10,000+ sq ft estate homes
- 3-weeks paid vacation, health insurance, year-end bonuses
- Maintaining an up-to-date prospect list in Zoho (CRM)
- Meeting quarter sales quotas
- Overseeing contract administration, including preparing and reviewing contracts.
- Staffing our models as required, meeting clients, setting appointments, and following through with essential and timely communications with our clientele and the Classic Homes Staff.
- Weekend hours are expected as needed as scheduled.
