Scion Nonprofit has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Nonprofit Program Analyst for our client, a wonderful Nonprofit organization that advances the cause of international sustainable energy use! Based in San Francisco, the Nonprofit Program Analyst works with multiple groups and committees, supporting project initiatives and working with the marketing team to create materials and publications. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and experienced in project tracking, working with documents and templates, and a great communicator! This is a full time, direct hire role, hybrid role- 3x onsite in Presidio area, 2 remote.

  • Compensation range is $65-75k, depending on experience


What you will be doing:

  • Implementing processes for project communications and tracking, utilizing spreadsheets (Excel) and tracking applications
  • Develop communication templates for project and organization policy materials
  • Work with the marketing team to draft promotional and communications materials to further project and organization goals; including PowerPoint presentations, polls and questionnaires via platforms like SurveyMonkey.
  • Coordinate operational activities such as invoicing, platform management, contract and research duties for project and internal organizational teams
  • Facilitate internal coordination of project materials and meeting schedules
  • Research and track initiatives and standards for renewable energy, greenhouse gas emissions and climate leadership
  • Facilitate work with internal and external project teams


What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of office based work experience
  • Experience and interest in working on templates, document formatting, internal filing systems, and spreadsheets/tracking applications
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbally
  • Experience working in an nonprofit setting preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft applications, Zoom, Salesforce and Asana are preferred
