Wondering what a day in the life of an Operational Excellence and Trainer at The Iowa Clinic might look like?
The Operational Experience and Training Coordinator will work with key stakeholders and leaders to improve the overall experience for our patients and Patient Experience Representative/Scheduling staff through improved training processes, customer service with a focus on the patient experience. Incumbents should have a passion for the patient and employee experience. Must be organized, empathetic, patient, and have excellent communication skills.
Schedule for this role will be Monday – Friday, based between the hours of 7 am – 6 pm (subject to variation). This role will support various Primary Care clinic locations around the Des Moines metro.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, health care and/or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years previous health care and leadership experience in a medical setting preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills and proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
Knowledge of computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail; entry level knowledge of Excel is required.
