What You'll Do
As an Operations and Supply Chain Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. You will oversee the entire supply chain process from procurement to distribution. Your keen understanding of supply chain processes will be crucial in optimising freight, managing third-party logistics (3PL), and ensuring effective lead time and inventory management. Your ability to collaborate effectively with various departments will ensure the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely procurement, production, and distribution of products
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing excess and avoiding stockouts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure service quality, cost control, and performance metrics are met
- Analyze and optimize lead times across the supply chain to improve overall responsiveness and reduce delays
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels accordingly
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related discipline
- 2-3 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics or a related field within the food and beverage industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with optimising freight and logistics costs
- Knowledge of managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers
