Part-Time Creative Assistant

Pro Athlete is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Part-Time Creative Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about video editing, photography, and social media. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic. The Creative Assistant will be responsible for editing a variety of video content, including Instagram reels, video/audio podcasts, and short-form videos. Additionally, the ideal candidate will learn and perform product photography for our websites and assist with larger shoots and on-location sessions.

As a Part-Time Creative Assistant, you will work independently, as well as collaboratively within our creative team. An understanding of social media algorithms and how to edit content for maximum engagement is crucial. If you are eager to work in a fun and exciting creative environment and contribute to our visual content strategy, we would love to have you on the roster!

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

• Edit video (Instagram reels, video/audio podcast, short-form videos)
• Learn and perform the product photography procedures for our websites
• Be a photography assistant on bigger shoots and on-location shoots
• Willing to be a “model” for shoots from time to time
• Assist with creative tasks and projects as directed
• Other duties as reasonably assigned

• A willingness to learn, an eye for detail, and a strong work ethic

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Someone who has a background in photography or videography but is willing to learn both
• The more experience the better but this could also be a great role for someone just starting their professional career
• The ability to complete the essential roles and responsibilities without instruction or training

Work Environment:

This position will be able to work in a hybrid or remote environment for editing but will need to work on-site or on-location for product photography and video shoots.This person must be located in the Kansas City metro area.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a part-time position that is expected to work less than 30 hours per week
