Partnerships Director - Politics and Advocacy

As a rapidly growing cloud analytics product, our client specializes in measuring public opinion and assessing the impact of messaging and advertising content. Our client has revolutionized the way major progressive campaigns measure the effectiveness of their messages. They are currently seeking a Partnerships Director to serve as the platform's ambassador within the DC politics and advocacy sphere, driving further expansion and impact.
This position, based in Washington DC, focuses on developing leads and building partnerships, brainstorming projects and innovative uses, and acting as an account executive to foster important collaborations in politics and advocacy.
Responsibilities:
Lead the entire sales cycle from start to finish, establishing and nurturing strong relationships within the progressive political world.
Create new projects and utilize the company’s cloud analytics product to develop use-cases.
Generate innovative ideas and cultivate leads, forming strategic partnerships within the public-interest advocacy sector.
Collaborate closely with the company’s VP of Revenue and CEO to plan and implement partnership initiatives.
Offer account management assistance for larger partnerships.
Meet key performance indicators regarding the quantity and quality of partnerships achieved.
Requirements:
Significant roles on high-profile, successful campaigns for high office, ideally with deep connections to the social good and progressive politics world
Interest in using data and analytics to drive impact in the political and advocacy landscape
Interest in public opinion, voter data, and advertising, with understanding and enthusiasm
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, capable of making complex ideas understandable and tangible
Proven experience in a full-cycle sales role, including building partnerships and generating leads
Ability to work independently, meet or exceed quota, and report to the VP of Revenue and CEO
Base salary range of $130K-$170K, depending on location and experience
