Lightbeam Advisory Services assists our clients with developing and deploying a focused and concise population health strategy that aligns with their organizational and contractual initiatives. The Population Health Advisor plays a crucial role in identifying high areas of cost and utilization, both historical and present. By reviewing claims and clinical data, Advisor’s assist our clients pinpoint the largest opportunity drivers and monitor trends within and across their patient population(s). Upon identifying the client’s most pertinent savings opportunities, the Advisory team helps to operationalize clinical and application workflows while disseminating best practices. The Advisor role is a customer facing position requiring a purpose driven analytical mindset, outstanding relationship skills and industry acumen related to population health management. The ideal teammate will have successfully demonstrated analytical or consulting experience with the ability to come up to speed on the population health industry quickly. Expectations for this role include building and managing successful relationships with both new and existing clients, identifying their needs and goals to help them succeed using our population health management tools and collaborating closely with Lightbeam teams to help drive client and company success.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop and implement strategic and operational plans across client contracts to drive successful outcomes
Conduct analyses utilizing clinical and claims data to pinpoint the greatest area of opportunity for quality and cost interventions
Utilize technological tools in order to track and trend adopted and/or contractual initiatives across Lightbeam’s client base
Decipher and relay actionable data insights in an intelligible way relating to client contracts
Collaborate closely with Clinical Transformation team in order to enhance clinical workflows for at-risk patient populations
Ensure satisfaction, communication, and engagement with our customers
Build strong, credible working relationships across our client base
What You’ll Bring:
Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably with experience in value-based care and desire to drive change through population health management strategies
Ability to problem solve and regularly exercise initiative
Experience with developing executive level presentations
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Sharp attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication
Analytical thinking and planning skills
Willingness and ability to travel (approximately 30%)
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
