Who We Are-

Based in Salt Lake City, UT, Elevate Jet became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elevate Aviation Group in 2022. It has been a premier provider of aircraft charter, management, and sales and brokerage services for almost 30 years.

Summary Of Position-

The Division President will work closely with other Executives and team members, ensuring operations are both efficient and safe. They will be responsible for overseeing departmental efficiency regarding operational performance, safety, and P&L success. Ensuring operations adhere to and operate within the guidelines established under Elevate Jet’s Ops Specs, GOM, GMM, SMS Manual, ERP, employee handbook, and third party safety audits are performed as needed to maintain certificate integrity is an integral part of the role.

The Division President will drive commercial growth and sustainability. This growth will include talent development, goal setting, training, and leadership support throughout the division. Success is measured through sustained growth of the aircraft management business, wholesale charter utilization, aircraft brokerage activity and integration with aircraft management, and the overall P&L goal attainment for the division.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities-

  • Lead the Elevate Jet - Management team to achieve optimum safety, operational and financial goals.
  • Commercial and financial ownership of the business unit. Creating strategic initiatives, building executable plans, and driving accountability for achieving positive outcomes.
  • Foster an environment that supports strategic planning, continuous improvement methodology, and an empowered and action oriented team.
  • Constantly monitoring the financial health of the organization, creating solutions to improve and maintain profitability.
  • Ensure that departmental processes are functioning smoothly.
  • Oversee aircraft onboarding, verifying that all tasks needed to successfully onboard new managed customers/aircraft have been accomplished in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Work closely with the DO, DOM, and Head of Safety cultivating a positive relationship with our local FSDO.
  • Ensure internal audits are being conducted on a regular basis, review results and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on key issues ranging from the evaluation of potential alliances, capital projects, acquisitions and/or mergers
  • Cultivate business relationships, frequently meeting with current and prospective customers.
  • Participate in organizational and industry events, promoting and representing Elevate Jet.
  • Work closely with Client Services, partnering on initiatives that promote and enhance customer service, charter sales and operational integrity.
  • Recruiting and developing talent to sustain and advance the performance of Elevate Jet
  • All other duties as assigned by the President.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities-

  • Strong commercial orientation, sales development and growth leader.
  • Experience creating and promoting a safe culture utilizing Safety Risk Management. Strategic understanding of company goals and metrics, promoting and analyzing key performance indicators, including direct oversight of departmental and/or company P&L performance and safety communication.
  • Thrives in stressful situations, problem solver, periodically performing SWAT analysis.
  • Exhibits confidence in self and others, inspire and motivate, take responsibility for subordinate's activities, provide performance feedback.

Education & Experience-

  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in leadership with demonstrated progressive levels of responsibility throughout a career in commercial and/or general aviation.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and coaching efficient and effective teams.
  • Highly motivated, exceptional service to both customers and coworkers.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.

Schedule & Travel-

  • Schedule will be standard business hours however nights and weekends may be required based on the operational needs of the organization. A strong level of engagement and ownership is required.
  • Travel may be required for this role. Up to 10%

Miscellaneous-

  • FLSA Status- Full time exempt
  • Lifting requirements- Up to 25lbs
