We are seeking a dynamic and experienced President and CEO to lead our team and drive the future growth and success at iA American, a wholly owned subsidiary of iA Financial Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the insurance and financial industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving strategic business objectives.
Your Focus
Operations and Management
Oversee the overall operation and management of the company, including strategic planning, financial management, and business development.
Lead and inspire a team of executives, managers, and staff to achieve company goals and objectives.
Ensure regulatory compliance and ethical business practices are upheld across the organization.
Mobilize and Collaborate
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market reach and maximize profitability.
Collaborate with iA Groupe Financier to leverage resources and capabilities to drive growth and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory authorities.
Act as a mobilizing change agent, fostering innovation and leading the company through periods of growth, change, and transition.
Education And Work Experience
Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in the insurance and financial industry, with a focus on automotive F&I solutions, ancillary products, and reinsurance.
Proven track record of successfully leading a company through periods of change.
Strong financial acumen and the ability to make strategic and data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Applicant must reside in the US.
30% travel is required, across the US and Canada.
Knowledge And Skills
Successful leadership experience with a strong track record in the F&I industry and a demonstrated ability to achieve top ratings from A.M. Best.
The knowledge of various sides of the Dealer Services distribution channel, from insurance company to administrator to broker, with similar diverse experience, would be beneficial.
Familiarity with strategic leadership in the F&I industry, with extensive experience in the Dealer Services niche and an exceptional background in management at an insurance company.
An understanding of successful insurance operations management and financial planning, including a track record in enhancing dealer relationships and optimizing insurance operations.
Extensive OEM experience, particularly in marketing, product development, finance, and aftersales in the automotive industry.
