Pricing Analyst

Our client is a leading Amlaw 100 Firm with HQ in Downtown, Manhattan. Currently, they are looking to add a Pricing Analyst to their growing team.

This is a hybrid role (2 days in office) based out of either their New York City, Washington DC or Kansas City locations.

Role & Responsibilities:

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for developing budgets and fee arrangements that support the firm's overall pricing strategy. They will handle analyzing historical and current financial data to determine best practices for success, modeling Alternative Fee Arrangements and special rate arrangements as well as proposing recommendations to increase efficiencies and profitability, as well as preparing rate cards.

• Develop financial models and analytics in support of pricing proposals
• Compile and analyze data and historical statistics relating to revenue, realization, and profitability
• Provide support to partners for pricing requests, including preparation of fee estimates, development of appropriate pricing approaches and the communication of fees and value pricing
• Create and document best practices as they relate to pricing and profitability
• Work with different management groups and attorneys within the firm, utilizing tools and analytics to guide rates and pricing strategy to maximize profitable growth
• Work effectively with others on the Finance Team to determine best wats to extract relevant financial data to analyze in relation to pricing and financial analysis
• Review outside counsel guidelines for new matters to ensure proper tracking and setup

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics - or related field
• 1-3 years of Financial Pricing Experience, preferably within Legal Space
• Law Firm experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong analytical skills
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong Communication as this will be a internal/external client facing position
