Principal Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer

They work on a variety of projects, from subway and rail stations, airports, schools, courthouses, and healthcare facilities.

Your New Role

This is a senior leadership position within the firm. You will be overseeing a team of Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineers, responsible for leading the design ensuring compliance with codes, standards and client requirements. You will also supervise and mentor junior engineers and drafters, coordinate with other disciplines and consultants, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Experience in plumbing and fire protection design for buildings
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
• Knowledge of LEED and sustainable design practices
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
