An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Compliance Officer with a leading global investment firm that specializes in alternative asset management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting various aspects of the compliance program, ideally, with a focus on real estate investing strategies. This role reports directly to the CCO of the Private Investments group.

What you'll do:
As a Compliance Officer in Private Markets, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our client's operations. Your expertise will also be crucial in leading best execution measurements and governance reporting. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Maintaining the compliance program for Private Markets and Real Estate, including drafting and updating policies and procedures, training employees, and assisting in compliance testing.
* Provide general compliance advice on daily investing activities, compliance policies and procedures and private fund compliance issues.
* Monitor compliance with regulatory topics for all aspects of the real estate business including trading, qualified investor monitoring, investor reporting, regulatory filings.


What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Compliance Officer brings 10+ years within the alternative and private markets investment management legal and compliance domain. You should have a substantial understanding of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and its application within an alternative investment management setting. Experience with private equity / credit investing strategies would be helpful but real estate is ideal. Other qualifications below:
* 10+ of experience in investment management compliance or legal practice. (PE, PC, Real Estate, Hedge Fund)
* Familiarity with policy and procedure drafting, training business partners, regulatory change management, testing and risk assessment.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
