Product Associate

The Product Associate is responsible for various aspects of DoubleLine’s product marketing, investment strategy updates, portfolio communications and competitive analysis. This person will be a subject matter expert; providing a resource to Global Relationship Management and Investor Services to aid in DoubleLine sales and client retention efforts while simultaneously alleviating workload from various investment teams.

Job Functions

• Effectively communicate DoubleLine investment products (mutual funds, ETF’s, closed-end funds) and strategies to current and prospective clients.
• Cultivate and support client relationships by responding to client inquiries, providing ongoing communication with clients/prospects.
• Stay informed on macroeconomic events and investment product knowledge.
• Relay DoubleLine’s views verbally and in written format; work with investment team to author timely fund, strategy and market-related content, including whitepapers and chart creation.
• Provide marketing team with regular updates on a wide range of topics and partner with the Global Relationship Management team to assist in execution of the sales process.
• Represent DoubleLine at various conferences and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Series 7 and Series 63 licenses preferred.
• In-depth understanding of the asset management industry, investment product knowledge, financial and market concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Bloomberg preferred.
• Outstanding initiative and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Able to prioritize client projects and requests efficiently.

Base Salary Range

The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $140,000. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
