Product Manager

We are working with a highly innovative company in Florida, looking to bring on a Senior Product Manager (new role) to lead their software product portfolio. This role can quickly fast-track to Director & the VP within 12 -18 months. This is a startup, and Individuals will be hand on at first.

They are building a world-class product management group that is dedicated to delivering extraordinary value to its customers.

The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading a team of high-performing individuals who own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.

Direct Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the success of our software products in the market.
• Owning our products and services roadmap, including positioning, packaging, and pricing.
• Proactively connecting with stakeholders and clients to gather feedback to ensure we are prioritizing the right functions and features.
• Have accountability for product-level revenue targets and shape the products to unlock new revenue opportunities strategically.
• Monitoring the competitive landscape, including interactions with analysts and key influencers, to ensure we’re always leading our markets, not following.
• Creating and communicating the product roadmaps to key stakeholders internally and externally.
• Be a recognized expert in our field within MI and the market at large.
• Contributing to the evolution of our product vision with an emphasis on revenue and margin growth, innovation and the development of key partnerships and alliances.
• Highly effective at clearly and compellingly communicating our product vision and value internally and externally.
• Maintaining and reporting on the success metrics for your products and domain.
• Partnering with Marketing, Business Development, Engineering and other cross-functional teams on cutting-edge technologies to ensure the Go-To-Market strategy for our products and services is always relevant.
• Working with PLG (Product Leadership Group) to prioritize key technical functions and features, including breakthrough innovation elements, within your products’ roadmap.
• Building a team and extending our Product Management capabilities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in product management at a company that was great at product management and had the results to show for it.
• Experience owning technical product lifecycle, including product roadmap and feature prioritization based on business opportunities and return on invested capital.
• Experience driving product direction, go-to-market strategy, and design.
• Experience building and shipping technical products, particularly SaaS.
• Experience working directly with engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
• Able to learn technical domain knowledge and communicate it clearly with both engineering teams and customers.
• Ability to understand the technical systems of customers.
• Experience in software engineering and software development life cycle.
• Experience working with external enterprises, including key partners.
• You are obsessed with the strategic nature of product management at its best and want to own the results of your decisions.
• You are adamant about winning.
• Experience taking a product or significant feature from ideation through launch and the different stages in its life cycle.
• Able to conduct thoughtful and unbiased customer discovery - people like you and want to talk to you.
• Strong understanding of our products, our market, and our customers. Experience with customer engagement, retail technology and AI is an asset.
