Product Owner

Job Overview: We are seeking a Product Owner to lead efforts in the development of the Client Review Center—a new Wealth Management/Trust application for financial advisors. As a Product Owner, you will organize, prioritize, and assess work for our scrum team. Your responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases, coordinating sprints, and ensuring the product aligns with our company’s vision. If you have experience in the financial services industry, wealth investment product knowledge, and expertise in Agile methodologies, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate feature requests into the product roadmap.
• Groom and prioritize backlog.
• Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Set sprint goals.
• Write acceptance tests.
• Plan releases and upgrades.
• Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints.
• Analyze preferences and requests of end users.
• Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback.
• Keep track of industry trends.
  
  

Requirements And Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in the financial services industry.
• Wealth investment product knowledge (WFA, TIAA, Merrill Lynch, Edward Jones, UBS, etc.).
• Experience creating detailed project plans, project schedules, and executive-level presentations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and make independent decisions.
• Personal dedication and strong work ethic.
• Effective interaction with a variety of stakeholders, including mid to senior level managers.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, QC/ALM, and Confluence.
• Facilitation of virtual and in-person collaboration meetings and work sessions.
