Product Research Associate

We are looking for a Product Research Associate for a Global Sportswear Brand client in Beaverton Oregon.

This is a 2 month hybrid contract.

To be considered candidates must be local to the Beaverton area.

Description

In this role, you'll dive into the exciting world of research and development, taking products from concept all the way to retail shelves. You'll be focused on understanding what both our accounts and consumers need, and working on ways to meet those needs. You'll be doing foundational research in kinesiology and biometrics, which is key to our innovation efforts. This means you'll be using top-notch biomechanical and physiological equipment to run experiments that help us develop new, cutting-edge technologies. You'll need to be proactive and able to carry out experiments on your own. After the experiments, you'll summarize the data you collect and help prepare reports to share your findings with the team. It's a role that combines hands-on research with the opportunity to contribute to exciting new product developments.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with biomechanics, performance research, wearable sensors, motion capture, and force plates.
• Experience with data processing, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Matlab preferred.
• High level of initiative and ability to perform tasks independently.
• Exposure to industry research preferred.
• A minimum 2 years of experience in a research and product development role

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $25.00-$28.57 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
