Estimated hourly base pay: $20.02(minimum) - $25.05(midpoint) - $30.05(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Production Control Specialist (Machining), we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Production Control Specialist is responsible for coordinating production processes in an industrial setting. The position works under some supervision, significant decision-making and some contact with external suppliers or customers. The position also provides some guidance to other members.
What You Will Be Doing
Revise production schedules when required for design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, and engineering
Review customer demand and communicate information to department/cells; develop and maintain communication channels between multiple departments
Effectively manage inventory or overhaul/repair units
Designate, delegate and coordinate work team assignments
Report on work order progress and past due events, alerting others as necessary to resolve the issue
Create COC's for shippable product
Perform supplier owned stock moves
What We Are Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2+ years’ Experience with level loading machining production scheduling required and/or manufacturing processes required
The ability to instruct others on the specific activities used in a production process
The ability to use computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output information or to execute programs with a willingness and ability to learn new applications (e.g., PC-based tools, Microsoft applications, web-based applications, ERP)
The ability to write effectively, to read and understand work documents, to communicate information clearly to coworkers and supervisors, and the ability to listen attentively and comprehend key pieces of spoken information
The ability to see details (e.g. letters, numbers, codes, color, symbols, marks, labels, signs) clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Solid knowledge of inventory and understanding of MPR, Master Production Schedule, Planning Systems, BTO and Lean Manufacturing
