Our Colorado Springs manufacturing facility has an opening for a self-motivated and results oriented Operating Manager Position in charge of Equipment Engineering and Maintenance supporting our Precision Mesoscale Technology Center machining, chemical miloling and plating operations. This person will be responsible the day-to-day Management for the Equipment Engineering and Maintenance team. This includes systems and overall tool performance on assigned equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Successful candidate will support our production team by meeting and exceeding tool availability and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Manage the day-to-day COS PMTC Equipment Engineering and Maintenance team.
    • Oversee the safety programs to ensure Keysight Technologies procedures and best practices are followed by all team members.
    • Oversee PMTC Capital Equipment purchases with PMTC Process Engineering and Operations partners under the direction of PMTC Management.
    • Partner with operations and process engineering to analyze equipment performance and optimize to improve capabilities

    • Oversee all contractors for all related department equipment projects to ensure the safe operation of the facility.
    • Identify opportunities and work to implement Industry 4.0/Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions to monitor and optimize equipment performance.
    • Drive PM efficiency efforts and continuous improvements in tool performance, safety, quality, and cost control.
    • Direct our maintenance technicians and equipment engineers to provide optimum manufacturing support on area equipment.
    • Maintain tool availability pareto and drive equipment availability improvement projects.
    • Provide effective project management for extensive hardware rebuilds and maintenance activities.
    • Develop written maintenance procedures for assigned equipment.
    • Drive hard down and atypical tool recovery efforts.
    • Track and report availability, maintenance success, and similar metrics for assigned equipment.
    • Install, qualify, and develop maintenance procedures for new capital equipment.
    • Oversee capital and operation budgets for the department.
Qualifications

Ideal candidates for this position would possess the following attributes:

    • BS/MS in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business Administration.
    • Strong administration and technical capability.
    • 5 years’ supervising experience.
    • Equipment engineering and maintenance experience with production machining equipment.
    • Superior project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Experience with precision machining and wet processing equipment.
    • Experience with a variety of metrology tools would be beneficial.
    • Strong communication and team building skills.
    • Ability to prepare and present reports of technical nature.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

Colorado Pay Range: USD $69,000.00 - USD $164,000.00 Year

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region

This role is eligible for Keysight Results Bonus Program
