We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Scheduler in the machinery industry. As a Production Scheduler, you will play a critical role in coordinating and optimizing the production schedule to ensure timely and efficient delivery of our products.

In this position, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the production schedule, considering factors such as inventory levels, production capacity, and customer demand. You will work closely with various departments, including production, procurement, and sales, to ensure smooth production operations.

The ideal candidate for this role has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should have a solid understanding of production planning and scheduling principles, and be able to anticipate and resolve any potential issues that may arise during the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the production schedule based on customer orders and production capacity
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely and efficient production operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust production schedule as needed to meet customer demand
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components
  • Communicate with customers regarding production schedules and delivery dates
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and proactively anticipate and address potential production issues


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as industrial engineering or supply chain management
  • Proven experience in production planning and scheduling in the machinery industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
